Playa de Carchuna beach is sandy and stony and 80 metres wide, stretching almost 5km from Cabo de Sacratif to Calahonda. It normally has a low level of occupation.
Its waters are clear and blue, with an abundance of fish.
This essentially depends on the latest tide; when coming from the east the sand is fine, and when coming from the west more stones emerge.
The following photographs were taken on the same day within a 50 metre radius of the campsite, where the variety of sand can be appreciated.

Located in Gualchos - Castel de Ferro, it is an almost unspoiled beach where there are usually few people.
If you are seeking peace and tranquillity in nature, we recommend visiting this beach. Don’t forget to pack your snorkel and goggles, as you can also discover the marine life!!!
To access the beach, you have to park in the car park, and then descend on foot – but don’t worry, it’s not a long way :)
Our tip is to fill your cooler with food and drinks for the whole day in case the beach bar is not open.
On this small cove located at the foot of the Sacratif Lighthouse and sheltered by rocks and cliffs, you can practice nudism and enjoy this unspoiled beach.
To access it, you have to park in the car park and descend staircases (approximately 200 steps), but it is worth it due to both the views, and of course enjoying a great day at the beach.
We recommend bringing food and drinks for the whole day at the beach, as there are no bars or restaurants.
El Peñón beach, almost 2 kilometres long, is known for the crystal clear waters which lap the small islet known as "El Peñón".
The beaches offer a full range of services for making your day at the beach as pleasant as possible.
In Salobreña you can also enjoy La Guardia beach, where you can have your own barbecue and enjoy a fantastic summer day with the whole family.
Just 7 kilometres from the municipality of Almuñécar and with a length of just over 2 kilometres, you can enjoy a pleasant day at the beach with the whole family.
Being in an urban area, it has all kinds of services and facilities such as bars, restaurants, car parks and access for people with reduced mobility.
We recommend walking along the seafront promenade where you will be astonished by the beautiful views of the beach, along with the vegetation which surrounds it.
Just at the edge of the Tropical Coast of Granada and the Costa del Sol of Málaga is Cantarriján beach, in the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Park.
Its sand and crystal clear waters make this beach a delight for discovering the sea beds.
This beach is often frequented during the summer months, and is therefore impossible to access with your own vehicle; you must park in the car park and descend to the beach by bus.
